We do not request direct OAuth access to your YouTube channel.

4. How We Use Information

  • deliver and maintain the service;

  • generate content-gap analyses and script blueprints;

  • send transactional emails and optional digests;

  • process payments and detect fraud;

  • improve models and UX through aggregated analytics;

  • comply with legal obligations.

6. Sharing & Processors

We never sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • Authorize.net – payment processing;

  • Xano – cloud hosting;

  • Apify – search-term scraping infrastructure;

  • OpenAI, LLC – natural-language processing of transcripts;

  • Analytics / error-tracking vendors (e.g., PostHog);

  • authorities if required by law or to protect rights.

All vendors are bound by written data-processing agreements.

7. International Transfers

We store data in the United States. When transferring EU/UK personal data abroad we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards.

8. Retention

  • Account data – while your subscription is active plus 12 months;

  • Billing records – 7 years (legal duty);

  • Log files – 30 days for security, unless investigating abuse;

  • AI-processed transcripts – deleted after 90 days unless you pin them to an idea board.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may: access, correct, delete, download, or object to processing of your personal data. Email support@gaptube.ai to exercise any right. California residents may opt out of “sale”/“sharing” via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Information” link.

10. Security

We use TLS 1.2+, encryption at rest, least-privilege IAM roles, periodic penetration testing and continuous monitoring. No system is 100 % secure, but we aim for industry-standard safeguards.

11. Children

GapTube.ai is not directed to users under 18. We do not knowingly process children’s data.

12. Changes

We will post any material policy changes on this page and notify registered users 14 days before they take effect.
